What is the difference between online dating and dating online?
I was examining the words we use in our daily vocabulary and how they can mean different things to different people. On top of that if the words are rearranged they can mean totally different things.
In the case of online dating and dating online, we can see right away that online dating is almost an adjective that describes the stuff found online for dating. Whereas the next term ‘dating online’ is like a verb and describes some kind of action on the part of the user. In this case the person is conducing dating in the online world.
However you look at it, the concept behind the word describes the world of dating as it relates to online. We can also go as far and say that online dating is where we go to do the dating online as opposed to say dating at the bar scene. Get my point?
