Here is a rather interesting post on some of the ‘unusual’ dating sites you can find on the net to cater to people with a ‘niche’ taste. I had reported previously two such sites which cater to a niche set of people, these being Cupidtino.com for gadget fans and Tastebuds.fm for music lovers.

There are also many other sites which are popping up to strike a chord with people in a specific area of interest and passion such as sites catering to geeks and animators. See my brief on those sites also.

Basically three dating sites are covered by this post and include Pounced.org, Alt.com and Millionaireflirt.com. The first site pounced.org caters to the ‘furry’ lovers out there, especially people taken to dressing up in furry costumes and of course drawn to feline characteristics.

The Alt.com web site is for people into leather, piercings, collars, chains etc. probably to attract a young student population who are game for this kind of thing. Unfortunately, the site requires a monthly fee of $19.95.

Millionaireflirt.com as noted by the name is for people who are exceptionally rich but the writer does warn of its authenticity as to how many of the members are really members.
