On a last note about having dates, make sure to look at it from nothing more than that.
The tendency for men is to read too much into the relationship and make all kinds of speculation which could potentially freeze you and keep you away from the dating scene altogether.
Think of it as something that not only improves your social skills and prowess but also improves the other person too.
If you are a reasonably intelligent human being, others can learn from you and so can you from others.
If the date doesn’t work out, for some valid reason other than yourself, so what.

Please do not think that being a good talker is all it takes to get along in life, in fact these people can have a hard time brushing off criticisms.
Again the question of balance is important to this equation, don’t be too extroverted and dominate the conversation, be just right and have good listening skills.
Again, it is easy to say but what is considered the right balance.
A right balance is when you give sufficient time and respect to the other person to have their say and if they feel like talking encouraging them to do so which means observing the environment you are in.

This is again a perception we have had of ourselves as we grow into adulthood and it is something we need to address before we have the capability to act like that in public.
I once had someone say to me that when you go out to speak to a small audience visualize all the people in the audience as stark naked to calm your nerves.

Our goal is to perform and make everyone see that we are capable and can be accepted by a wider audience.
However, this doesn’t help us on how we can try to overcome this fear of approaching strangers.
If you think about it, we are always talking to strangers on a regular basis, for example when shopping for groceries, the doctor’s office, over the phone.
Even if we tend to quickly mutter a few words to the woman scanning the barcode of our groceries, it still is a conversation of some portion to a total stranger.

Before you can visualize yourself as a dynamite and confident individual able to walk up to any persona and start a conversation, you will need to think about the topic in that section first.
For example, if you really want to feel confident and have the natural flair to do this without appearing contrived, you will need to first train your mind for this.
Some of us are not the social or boisterous talking type and we need to take this into consideration when making leaps and bounds in this area.
However, the truth is that anyone can do it but again it has to come out as natural for you and the person you are talking to.
