The iDate expo started out in life back in 2004 when the dating industry was in an upward trend and there were a handful of big players such as Match, UDate and eHarmony.

Since then the expo. held several times a year and sometimes in various countries has been attracting all the industry professionals in this dating area. These include CEO’s, Marketing Executives, Software Companies, Venture Capitalists, Mobile Telecom, Managers.

Although not having attended this event myself, its probably a good venue for budding entrepreneurs to mingle and mix with established industrial veterans to get more creative ideas that you can use in this growing industry.

A full 3 day conference costs $1,250 and the 2 day pass costs $950. Not cheap, but the accumulation of all the big players alike will give you a sense of the size of this industry and where its heading.
