The is a press release of a new dating site which has been around seven months called MyLiveDate.com. Although, I do not do many reports on press releases but if something is useful to the reader, I will let them know.

The concept of the MyLiveDate site is nothing new which is to get members having a face to face communication through their online web cams. The technology has been around for a while and some dating companies have tried to make use of it but the sad truth of it is that it just didn’t catch on as most dating companies found out and we are talking about 5-10 years ago.

However, now that every laptop, smartphone etc do come with their built in camera this scenario may change. There is no convincing required on anyones part to appreciate the value of a face to face chat as compared to an impersonal email or IM chat.
