Keeping your marketing and selling on a regular basis to your niche audience for your product/service will be key to your survival and growth. However, how you do this will differentiate you between your competitors even more so than just the product alone. How often have you found products come to market and you ask yourself “I could have done this better?”. I am pretty sure more than once or twice.
In the same manner, how you target your profile will determine your level of success in the online dating game. Don’t think for a moment that whatever you do, just doesn’t seem to work because successful business DO NOT think that way. Again, you maybe comparing your ‘boring’ you to all the other successful daters out there and this is also doom to failure.
Can you see how the analogy works here very well, you give up hope, business gives up hope, they don’t sell their product and they are doomed to failure. It is NOT the product or service that will determine your fate, but how you market and sell your services that determines your fate. Just look at how Microsoft introduced Windows to a world of DOS, it got a big shock from the publics reaction to it, did it give up.. No, it continued to improve and enhance and we have come a long way from Windows 1.0.
giving up is like throwing your towel in and you are done

We have up to now seen such uncanny parallelism to operating a business and the way we should operate our dating profile. Having previously addressed the way we should convey our product/services and in the case of the dating example our online dating profile, we can now move onto promoting the item.
Again the analogy of the business makes total sense and is equally applicable to the online dating profile.
Business can only survive by aggressively seeking out the ‘customers’ and trying to get the word out. Those businesses that only expect customers to come knocking on their door are dreaming and usually do not get far, however, some mom and pop shops do because they often have the street traffic and also the location.
To really make your business shine (profile shine) you need to get the word out and that is your next important step.

Login & Customizing Profiles
Once you have completed the registration process you have to login to the site by giving your username and password but the site does provide an automatic login after sign up.
The site claims that it is free but as you login you will immediately see an ‘upgrade now’ box and the site asks you to select a plan which are as follows.
I detest sites that target the words ‘free’ just for marketing, because think about it, you spend the time and energy to sign-up and you find that you can’t pretty much do anything on the site because you have to pay. So what good is ‘free’ then?
Photo Profile Section
Photos can be uploaded from your computer and the photos should be in jpg, png, tif, bmp or gif images with a maximum file size of 5MB each.
The site allows sharing of 30 pictures with the members including your profile picture and there are simple rules for the types of photo upload to your profile.
Your primary photo needs to be sharp, well-lit, in-focus, and no more than a year old and a good primary photo should also be cropped so it shows only your head and shoulders and keep background distractions to a minimum. This is useful information regarding photo upload which people should be made more aware of.
