All members age range between 30 to 80 and as expected I got healthy responses within just a few hours.

The SeniorMatch site has got a good visitor base. If you look at the data from last one year, the site has had a few ups and downs in its membership count.
In Jan 2011 the site has got 23,788 visitors and the site enjoys 54,995 Google traffic ranking.

The registration process is easy and simple to go through and you can register for yourself and give the desired information about your match.
Login needs your username/email and password and the customization once you enter, allows you to edit your profile and manage your account settings.
Browsing can be done freely except some advanced features which requires a paid subscription.
Searching can be done on the basis of lots of options that are available on this site, they are also commonly seen in the top 100 free dating posts.
Messaging is not as well as you can only send mails and winks to the members.
Chat and IM are unfortunately only available to paid premium members.
The site has many other features that users will like to use but what I like most is the earning money through the site just by adding/recommending your friend, relatives and other people on the site.

Once you are on the right track, here is another very important lesson to learn…. keep engaged until there is a favorable outcome. It is critical that you keep doing what it is you are doing until there is a favorable response. Businesses require a barometer to tell them where they are in terms of progress, otherwise what is there to aim for?
In the preceding example that I gave you of Microsoft coming out with their very first helping of the windows operating system, there could have been several ways to respond to the public. Microsoft could have just said, that they simply are not good enough to produce the product that they wanted for the market and leave it and focus on other things (which they were engaged in ie. applications, servers etc.). A competitor could have come and just taken over the market, but instead they chose to challenge it square on and they were motivated to act until they got it right.
Of course there are going to be bumps on the way, but you keep the path going, measure performance, until you get favorable responses and just keep going. Of course one can stop when they have reached their perceived pinnacle of success in their own eyes or just keep going. In the case of the online dating profile which we are discussing as the analogy here, we can rest in the phase of the online dating should we ultimately fulfill our goals.
However, this is not to say that the lessons learnt from this exercise cannot be translated to other walks of life, for example, in building a successful career.
