Photo Profile Section and Videos
You can upload photos no matter if you are subscribed or not and the maximum number of photos that can be uploaded is 10. You can upload a photo up to 3mb in size. You can only upload the photos you have on your computer and the main photo must be of you and no one else.

Photos would not be approved for the following conditions -
Inappropriate photo(s)
Photo is blurry or unclear;
Wrong position (sideways);
Suggestive or vulgar photos;
Photos of objects, pets, scenery or copies of a photo;
Copies of identifications or Passports; Photo size is too small.

You can configure your photos to include profile/primary photo and crop the photo to the height and width of our choice.
Unlike most other dating sites this site also provides you to put videos up too, but only VIP and DELUXE membership allows you to post one video. This feature is not available to Economy or Visitor membership.

Browse & Search Feature
You can search for people and get results as follows:

Basic Search: You have to give the search criteria and the results would be shown as per the criteria given by you. It requires less specification.

Advanced Search: Search criteria like ethnicity, children, smoking, drinking, weight or height etc. are also included with the normal basic search criteria. It gives more specified results, but one should be careful in filling up the criteria or too many specifications may end up in “not found” or “no match” results.

Username search: You need to know the username and enter it exactly the way it is in the website in order to use this search.

Keyword and Quick Search: If you are looking for a member with similar interests, you can enter a specific keyword, such as reading, hiking, etc. and you will be presented with the search results of members who have used the same keyword in their profile.

With Quick Search you can find members faster, search for members who are online, who are new to the site who are available for IM (instant Message), who’s birthdays are coming up and featured members

You can also save your searches for future, which is a common functionality found in most dating sites of today.

Messaging
Just like other dating sites christiansingles.com also provides the facility for messaging.
You can message a user just like in any email accounts.

When you are browsing through the profiles and see a member who is “IM On”.

Simply click on the “IM On ” image to initiate a conversation and the member will then be notified of an instant message and if he/she accepts, you will then start your private one-on-one chat.

Features include:
• Vote Star: Members can vote on other member’s profile. While viewing a member’s profile you are able to rate it by rolling over the stars and clicking on the desired amount of stars you wish to give his/her profile. This means more start you have more interesting person you are. Your votes are based on a combination of their profile information, essay, photo etc. Voting is not to be used as a judgment of beauty or cuteness.

• Featured Member: Featured Members is the section where a profile with the highest (star) member votes is visible. To see the outcome of all votes you click on Featured Members to see who has been receiving the best votes.

• Hide Profile: You can hide and unhide your profile anytime. During the “Hide” mode members will not be able to view, search or make any type of communication with you and you will have limited use of the site. But once you have finished all comes back to normal. This feature does not harm your membership by any means.

• Events: Events allows you to announce things that are happening in your community, churches etc.

• Blogs: Blogs are a place for members to gather their thoughts in writing. They collect articles, write about topics that interests them or keep a diary of meaningful events. You can read and comment on other members Blogs and see what others have to say about your Blogs.

• While viewing the blogs you may view a members profile by clicking on the member’s username that is shown highlighted. The members profile will then show read their profile and send them a message, wink, quick note or an E-card to start a conversation.

• Photo commenting: You can comment on others photos to start conversation or covey a thought to them about what you feel about them
