IQ, yes you read it right but not sure got what I am trying to say… I mean to say IQ – emotional quotient. Trying your luck on online dating sites to find the perfect date can be frustrating for those who don’t follow the basics of online dating.
JumpTrends – The dating trend and infographics section on Jumpdates found that female online singles took the first step and become quickly active on different part of the online dating sites like forum and blog to effectively advertise their profile.
On the other hand male online singles would directly send an introduction message to the one they find appealing. But, the real crunch comes when they don’t get enough responses from other online singles. Here is where the real test of emotional strength which we term IQ will come into play. Most of the online singles would give up and leave or switch to other online dating sites and so the cycle can continue.
Women want men with sex in their mind and love in their heart but, men want the opposite so says Frances Cohen Praver, Ph.D. - a clinical psychologist and relational psychoanalyst and author. Women would stay a bit longer as compared to males who just don’t hesitate in switching online dating sites. While trying your luck on free dating sites be strong and have plenty of IQ.

I am sure you have gone through lots of profiles on free dating sites that say I am looking for a sexy dating partner. But, do they really know what the term ’sexy’ means to them. This profile headline shows that they just simply selected this word as they could not think of anything better.

Sexy has different meanings and connotations to different online singles looking for their match on free dating sites. For a few, ’sexy’ is directly related to the physical appearance, from a males perspective, the female would have a perfectly toned body with great curves. A womans perspective regarding ’sexy males’ would be someone that works out at a gym to build a six-pack ab. One may then consider the term ’sexy’ somewhat superficial and only applies to physical appearance. However, sexy has been often used by females to imply a deeper meaning than just looks alone. They can signify a man with charm and charisma who oozes a sexual persona towards the female gender. But, it is considered that a males perspective is predominantly based on appearance when using this word to refer to females.
If the word should be used at all, it may be better to go further and describe something that is considered sexy. For example, if you refer to a female as sexy say something like, you have sexy eyes, or I like your sexy red dress etc.
Fortunately, there are different groups of online singles that give more importance to individual’s attitude and their qualities. Yes, it is true and almost impossible to find the attitude of anyone by reading an online profile on free dating sites. However, when you strike up a conversation, there is much to be learnt from the other person. Try variations of interesting headlines by studying other peoples profiles in particular the females and what they say on their headlines.

Have no illusion about dating websites

In the previous blog post, I mentioned at the end that we should change our inner potential in order to perceive the outside world in a different way. This is a profound statement and applies to everything we do and in particular when seeking out our potential mates from all those online free dating sites. This principle can be exercised in such a manner that some people may construe the whole thing to be a mere manifestation of what we want and many would like to debunk this kind of methods. However, in actual practice it has its limitations and benefits and we need to be aware of this.

Like all things we need to take everything with a pinch of salt, you could say that some take the high road and others take the low road. There is a balance and this balance is like tuning into a simple harmonic frequency or motion which can place you in a position of much power.
There are numerous advice and relationship blogs each advocating to a method that will work for you when you looking for dates on the online dating sites world, but none offers the ‘process of thinking’ that can get you there. We are all wired to think in a particular way and depending on some peoples low or high self-esteem we can be swayed by other people’s decisions or what we read. This is a great power that the media wields over the common man and is in fact practiced everyday by the savvy individual plucking out its victim for their own needs.
Before you become ‘influenced’ by the wordage, images and all the claims made by many dating sites, ask yourself this. “I am looking for great dates that I can find online”. Keep it simple and don’t fret too much how it is going to happen. Go back to whatever you were doing and wait for some thoughts and ideas to pop into your head and then act. It is advice handed down through generations by many school teachers to their students when they are having difficulty in solving something. “Take a break and come back to it later”. Almost always we come back with some kind of answers almost like magic and dare I say a mysterious type of manifestation.
Free dating sites or dating websites do not have to come across all that confusing or elusive, just try it a little at a time and let the intangible forces around you take shape and come up with the answers.

The online dating industry is booming and last year 2011 we saw a proliferation of new online dating sites coming into the market including many free dating sites. This year (2012) there appears to be a lull in the sector of new online dating websites coming into the market. I mainly put this down to the ‘fever’ that takes hold when venture capital firms and pundits drum up interest in this area, so much so that would-be entrepreneurs arrive in droves. Part of the reason for the big hike in 2011 was essentially due to the bigger online dating companies such as match.com posting their strongest growth ever along with a few mergers and acquisitions.
