In online dating, the first impressions are created by what is written on the profile apart from the photo of course. If the information presented here does not read well then it may fail to impress the reader and they will simply move on.

In my opinion, it is a good idea to look over your dating profile and ask yourself whether someone who read your profile will be impressed by it. Get your friend, family to go over it and ask them for feedback and suggestions. It’s amazing how often we can find mistakes just by going over the written material a few times.

I have seen dreadful use of unstructured sentences, capitalization, pronunciation that makes the profile look like it was written by a young child and this can come across very negatively when read by other users.

To increase your chances of finding that ideal partner, you do not want to overlook this important topic. It is often the case where I have met people who are extremely articulate verbally but their written language is poor and since in online dating the first impressions are created from the written material, it needs to be done right.
