The ramifications as I said for placing a header constraint as done by Bing and Yahoo search engines are huge.
So they drop a few websites from their index, so what?
Consider doing a search for ‘Jumpdates’ which I did at the time of the issue… the results were extremely peculiar. Every site that linked to Jumpdates appeared in their first page except Jumpdates?
This potentially leaves a bitter taste with regards to this search engine and one would think it is totally flawed for omitting such information from its index. Typically users would then go to Google because as most people do these days, they cant be bothered to type the complete url of the site but rather find it through the search engines. A big score to the Google market share.
You can see now why ‘omitting’ information can be a bad thing and we will continue to discuss on the original topic but this example was given to drive home the point about the importance of providing complete information to the end user.
By the say, I am happy to report that Bing and Yahoo are indexing Jumpdates, and for what reason I still do not know. As for the future, I cannot say….

The background of the website is blue and the front is in white color.
The entire site is almost covered by blue color but you will find some bits of red color in the tag line of the site and there is a green colored search button.
There is a search box on the left side of the page while next to it you will find some girls and boys displayed to the right.
There is a 6 months guarantee logo that can also be seen on the home page.
Some featured members are also viewable at the bottom page of the website, but there is no sign up button on the site and you have to click on the search button then the sign up box will appear.

Registration Process
Registration process is very easy and in the first step you have to fill the necessary details like your gender, state in Australia, age range of seeking partner.
After this you will see a sign up box in front of you and in this you have to provide your username, password, and email, date of birth, your country, state, city and gender.
You will get a confirmation mail and you are all set to go with match.com.
However, you do need to complete your profile as best as possible so that the system can get you the best matches in your search. The information required for a complete profile is similar to all the other dating sites and you have to give your relationship status, body type, height, hair color, eye color, smoking, drinking, education and any children.

The site allows you to upload photos from your computer and I have not seen any rules and regulations regarding photo upload but after you upload a photo, it will be sent for approval. The time required for approval has not been mentioned here.
You can upload your primary photo and more photos as your picture album and the site does not even specify how many photos can be uploaded.
You can replace your uploaded photo and when you send a replacement photo, your previous photo will remain visible until your replacement has been approved.
If your photo does meet approval, you will get a mail containing all the rules for photo upload.
They are simple rules and similar to all the other dating sites.
