They have been given pre-defined set of 20 traits that online single write in their dating profiles or look for these traits in their future soul mates.
There are quite a few similarities in what both male and female participants have said with some changes in their priorities on the list. For example, both genders want qualities like reliable, warm, intelligent and fair in their top five. This is interesting finding from the survey from male participants as they want their future wife to be practical whereas female participant did not mention this trait at all. Males want their spouse to be creative while female don’t give much tress on this at all.

However, not every time do their matches work and it can give you matches that are completely unacceptable or awful. Lots of dating sites feel that opposite characters are best matches relying on electronic principles that –ve and +ve attract each other.

Free dating and matchmaking websites would have us believe that both would be a great match for each other as they have completely different worlds to offer each other and will create a strong union. Nerd boys don’t seem to mix with party girls with ease and they find it a bit difficult to adjust to the mood swings of party girls. Party girls choose nerd boys as they are easily available for dates but, soon they also realize that he is not her type. Time has changed, the new Indian generation is not afraid to talk on taboo topics like dating, especially online dating. Current Indian web market is showing some maturity in launching free dating sites naming them as friendship websites where young singles can meet other online singles ready to mingle.
I visited the family in Mumbai – the economical capital of India which seems to be picking the so called western culture from America with some pace. On the coffee table young college going brothers and sisters were discussing with their parents what is the right age for them to start dating?
On the other side parents were also comfortable with this question and guiding them as dating coaches and telling them to get to a certain age before they think of going on a date. Dating in India is still in the early stages and not like the US or other westerns countries where free dating sites are the best way to start. But, with the penetration of the Internet these free dating sites like Jumpdates.com, zoosk.com, girldateforfree.com are getting popular amongst young Indian online singles.
But, what’s fascinating to see is that more orthodox older generation are also accepting the individuality and importance of young online singles of India as they are the ones who will be spending their life with their match rather than parents and that could the factor that free daring sites and dating in general is getting wider acceptance in Indian society.

New Free Dating Sites Running Out of Ideas for Matchmaking

Yes, it’s true the new free dating sites - Tawkify recently launched this matching algorithm to match online single. They feel that Klout measure the online influence of singles and it’s the best idea for matching singles.
This means that two online singles who have similar Klout score will be a good match for each other. However, if one or both of them become inactive on the web – especially on social networking then what? He or she then would not be a good match for other. This way of matching online singles on free dating sites look attractive but, in the long it does not seem practical.
