Up to now I have visited and reviewed plenty of 100% free dating sites as well as paid dating site but none of them seems to offer the user experience I am looking for. Badoo.com appear to be a snazzy site that may do well in that department but only time will tell. The real essence of any dating site is to find your perfect match in the quickest and surest way possible!

As far as customizing the profile is concerned, the user can change the notification setting, change password and email address. The privacy setting is a good feature of this site where the user can create a rule as to who can contact you. The user can create rules like who can see your profile, who can contact you, choose which shown 3rd party website can contact you,  or locate you via email address. Even the photos are secured for tag and comments.

Photo Profile Section
The user can add up to 100 photos and videos on the badoo website and categorize them into various albums. Uploading of the photo can be done from your computer and from websites internal camera (which can take some time to get activated), or even from other site like orkut, facebook and photobucket.

I noticed a very interesting and somewhat of a strange behavior on the site and that is if I click on a searched profile it does not show me the details of the profile and only shows the name and If I wanted to see their photo I would need to obtain permission from the user.

Messaging

Messaging feature of this site is good yet not complete as chat, adding favorite, blocking, report abuse is there but sending a message when the person is off line is missing. Sending gifts is not free and you need to pay and buy credit points that can cost you from $10 to $40.

Other Features

The other features of the website includes a blog and there doesn’t appear to be any other prominent features that makes the site more interactive.

Member Base

The  site claims to have over 104 million member base from all over the world. Most of the users are in the age group from 20’s to 50’s. Since this site is free, it looks like that it caters well to the fun going users rather than say for serious online daters.

Longetivity

Well this is a tricky one to answer for this site as daters seems to be there for fun and not for serious dating. I would revisit this section again to conclusively say whether the site caters to the serious daters out there.
