I am a fun loving, intelligent down to earth guy and I am very young at heart. I enjoy doing things outdoors like hiking, picnics, swimming, walks in the woods, birding, wildlife photography, martial arts, yard work, target shooting, archery... no hunting. Indoors I enjoy writing (have written 12 "How to" books) and trading the stock market. I also enjoy working out with weights and staying fit doing aerobic exercise. I also love animals and children and I like curling up on the couch with someone special in my arms while we watch a movie, play a game or talk about things that interest us. I enjoy some TV shows, I love movies and working with my hands. I am very affectionate, enjoy holding hands in public and don't mind public displays as long as they don't get out of hand. I believe you should be as hard as the world makes you be yet as soft as the world allows you to be. I would physically defend anyone even a stranger yet I would catch a bug in my hand if it ran across my desk and then set it free. She would be thoughtful but would stand her ground when she is right and admit when she is wrong. She would be giving and compassionate. She would be someone that is fun and likes to communicate about the things that are important to her. There must be good mental and physical chemistry between us. She must be open to a serious relationship if one develops. She would want to be my friend my lover and more importantly an equal partner if things progress. She would enjoy displays of affection and enjoy laughter. She would have an inquisitive mind. She would want me to be proud to be with her and vice versa. If she keeps everything inside and doesn't like letting it out we won't get along. She would like a blend of activities and be truly romantic and not just feel that way during candlelight dinners and traditionally romantic things. She would be someone that makes me want to be better then I would be without her. Someone that feels that she is also a better person for knowing me. I in turn must like her for who she is inside and out and not just for how she looks or other superficial things that as we grow older will change.
