About me and who I am looking for :
Lately I've been seeing some of my old acquaintances from high school settling down with families and I haven't even had a girlfriend yet...but I digress. I'm very shy around strangers, so asking out a girl is difficult, especially if I don't know whether they share some interests with me or not, so I've resorted to using our good friend, the internet.
Anyway, some additional things about me:
I wear corrective lens eyeglasses for night-time driving and distance.
Likes:
* My favorite food dish is spaghetti with meat sauce, and I enjoy cooking it as much as eating it.
* Sweet/Spicy/Sour/Bitter Foods...I like them all. I have an interesting taste palette.
* Sushi.
* Anime and other Japanese culture based ideologies and pop culture items.

About life style :
One of the main problems I'm having is a lack of spontaneity in the dull routine that is my life. I don't have anyone I feel I need to spend time with, which results in many wasted hours on the internet. I need to get out more. I occasionally spend time with a small group of friends, since I'm not a very social person. I don't do well at parties that have a lot of people I don't know, for example. I have a routine morning, I go to work and come home and get on the computer. I want to exercise more, but I feel unmotivated when I do it by myself. I'm pretty laid back and go with the flow type.

I've graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. I'm EIT (Engineer in Training) Qualified and I'm going to be trying for my PE License eventually. I've never dated, never had a girlfriend, and I'm an Eagle Scout.
I find honesty to be very important. Less drama and more simple and time saved if everything is known right from the start of a relationship. I tend to not spend money on luxuries in general, but occasionally splurge. I value perseverance and patience, and of course the ability to communicate feelings through words is important. Asking someone how they feel and them saying "I don't know." doesn't help.

I'm an intern with the City of Anaheim in the Public Works Department. I'm going to be searching for a new job shortly. I can do much better than an intern's pay, and I have gotten some valuable work experience there, but nothing is available right now.
