Some say I'm the luckiest person they know. On my last 6 mile run, I found a half full bottle of skin lotion in the ditch. And, my skin was totally dry that day. That's just how things go for me. I am afflicted with the opposite of depression. I'm not annoyingly bubbly, but if something goes very wrong for me, I'll be the homeless guy whistling as I walk down the street, not the one swearing at birds. I have 2 super-powers: I am extremely patient and have zero temper. OK, maybe they are not "super" but they do have a powerful impact on life. I equate lashing out at others to emotional immaturity. I also pride myself on being open-minded and impossible to offend. I'm healthy, fit, disease free, addiction and medication free. I'm no gym rat, but enjoy regular exercise. I have a love/hate relationship with running. I enjoy the physicality of life and intend to remain fit and active long into my 80s. My plan for my 90s is a decade of abusing all the substances that I currently avoid. I enjoy junk food like anyone else. Mmmm... nachos! But the joy in life comes from healthy balances; heavyset people and those that lead other unhealthy lifestyles simply do not share compatible outlooks with me. Fitness and health are sexy and the converse is also true. I'm a hard working professional, but I love to play. Golf is a passion. Tennis is great, especially mixed doubles. I'd love to have a running partner. Travel interests me. Spontaneity is fun. I do not drink but don't mind if you do. I'm not a recovering alcoholic, a zealot or a prude; drinking simply isn't an activity that I find rewarding. I have booze in my house for guests and cooking. If I were to drink, rum would be my thing. And mainly Pina Coladas. I enjoy profanity, but often go days without using it. I greatly enjoy sex within a relationship, but apparently can go a year without it too. Uggh. I've never spent a night in jail or been arrested.
