I am patient, empathetic, and intelligent

I am responsible, reliable and always try to be true to my word. I say try because extenuating circumstances do at times arise. I dislike racism and sexism and can usually tolerate ignorance depending on the situation, but I do not like it. I am also very patient. I try not to get upset over the small things because that usually doesn't help the situation. I expect a lot from people in the sense that they care about each other and the world we live in. I do however realize that that is a difficult if not impossible thing to ask for. I choose my close friends very carefully. I am not the life of the party. I am the observer. I'm also no longer a big risk taker. I'm not well traveled and that's fine with me. Although someday I would hope to travel out west to see the Giant Redwoods and maybe to Africa to see a real Baobab tree. I love trees and find many of them quite amazing. I'd like to tell you that I'm an artist, writer and fine arts photographer but I really haven't felt like any one of those in a long time although I do hope someday to get my creative edge back. Who knows, maybe being in love and loved is the key. You should message me if you if you would like to ask me some questions. I want a man who accepts me for who I am today, not for who I was or where I've been. Someone who respects life of all the living. I would also like you to not see sex as a major factor in a relationship because it is not a necessary factor to love someone, it can be a pleasant side effect. I like to be depended upon to a point as well as be able to rely on my partner the same. I want someone who wants to spend time with me but also has time for his friends, family and hobbies. On the lighter side, I enjoy singing kid songs to my grandchildren and I must let you know, I own an xBox360 and a PS2. The PS2 is currently living in the closet however. I enjoy RPG's and adventure type games.
