The name's Abel. Was born in Saskatchewan, but spent most of my childhood in South Dakota. I've been living and working here in Montana for about five years now. I live a pretty straight laced life - get up every morning, watch the sunrise, eat breakfast, go to work, and come home totally puckered out. On the weekends I normally go into town, or find someway to occupy myself around here, which isn't too hard because my to-do list is always long. I'm happy with where I am in my life right now, but I feel like I'm missing out on something. Or rather, someone. I'm not interested in anything casual - I want a real connection. But with that being said, I like to take my time getting to know someone, so definitely friends first. I'm not looking for perfection - just someone who's a good friend, kind, and open minded. If you fit that description then feel free to get in touch with me. It would be nice if we shared some of the same interests too. Have had my heart broken in the past and would like to take things as slow as possible and let a relationship happen on it's own. I hate to label relationships - so I won't say I'm looking for marriage - since that is merely an empty title in my opinion. What I need and want is someone who is above everything else my friend - trust is the key to all relationships. Someone who understands, never judges, and will walk beside me down every path - even the uphill climbs. Relationships go through many trials and tribulations, am more than willing to prove my intentions and feelings for someone. Am definitely more of a do-er than a talker. I'll admit that I'm introverted. I enjoy solitude, and am most happy when I'm spending time with the people closest to me, or out in nature contemplating and learning about myself and the world. People have always told me I seem older than I am - which is both a compliment and a bit of a hindrance. A lot of things people of my generation enjoy, I find pretty redundant. Those closest to me tell me I have a good sense of humor. I try to be cheerful and find the best in things, life is too short to spend it being miserable. That being said, I tend to take on too many responsibilities sometimes, I find it hard not to give 110% of my effort to everything I do and for that reason, especially regarding work, I can get worn down easily and often have to take the time to recharge mentally and physically. People don't believe me when I say I'm shy, I guess I'm pretty good at hiding it (again, that's both good thing and a bad thing), but when I commit to someone I wear my heart on my sleeve, never keep secrets and expect the same in return.
