Headline : Three years ago, I relocated from NJ to Tucson, Az.
.It is a privilege to be a resident in this beautiful state. ...the mountains continue to be breathtaking. I share my life with my golden retriever/lab mix , Sweetie, who provides me with much love and laughter. I am not the one to go mountain climbing or jogging with since I use a cane. I don't let it hold me back...and I hope that it wont be an issue for you. I am currently a professional portrait artist . Back east, I was a public school teacher....am retired from that work.

What I like to do for fun :
I enjoy sharing time on the desert trails with Sweetie. When doing her walk, better yet, jog, I take in the beautiful mountain ranges while listening to one of my favorite musicians, Cat Stevens. Just the simple things are rich in fun.

About life style :
I live in a cozy home in Tucson. I have the privilege of viewing the mountains from my back porch area. I am enjoying my retirement after 25 years of teaching. I now experience the liberty of getting up later....ah so nice. In my community, I am involved in community service. As a painter, I enjoy taking my work down to Solar Culture where I have been showing my work over the last 3 years.
All in all, despite the economic crisis currently happening, I find simple ways to warm my spirit.

Hmmm....my background...I obtained my bachelor's degree from Temple Univ. going on to do my graduate work at Rowann Univ. Beginning age 9, I had my voice professionally trained. Yes, as a young adult, I sang in clubs and weddings.
Yes, got married, got divorced....enough said about that.
