INTO REALITY. Done most things, traveled many places. Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt. I've had it all and lived three lifetimes; God doesn't owe me anything. I cry when I am happy. I fight for what I believe in. I stand up against injustice. I have gone without new shoes so my children may have them. I cry when my children excel and cheer when their friends do well. I am happy when I hear about a birth or a new marriage. My heart breaks when a friend cries. I feel sorrow at the loss of a family member, yet have been strong when I feel I have no strength left. I know that a hug and a kiss can heal a broken heart. I will drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you to show how much I care about you. I believe the heart of a person is what makes the world work! I can bring joy and hope. I can give compassion and ideals. I can give moral support to my family and friends. I can congratulate my teammate without ever touching his rear. I never have to reach down every so often to make sure my privates are still there. I have the ability to dress myself. I can talk to people of the opposite sex without having to picture them naked. If I marry someone 30 years younger, I would be aware that I would look like an idiot. There are times when chocolate really can solve all my problems. I can usually assess a person just by looking at their shoes. I love my life and all who are a part of it MY PERCEPTION OF AN IDEAL RELATIONSHIP: Emotional stability. Mutually supportive... in mind and body.. two people heading in the same direction yet willing leave some space between them in which to be themselves. Continuing growth towards wholeness. Communication. Commitment. Openness. IS THIS SCARY, OR WHAT? You're not alive, you just only survive if you're standing outside the fire. WHAT I'VE LEARNED FROM MY PAST RELATIONSHIPS: The real answer to this question is: EVERYTHING! You can't save a person, or change them, no matter how much you love each other. In addition, a relationship worth having is probably one of the toughest "jobs" you'll ever have but, in my opinion, also the most fulfilling. I was rich once. I spent most of it on women and beer; the rest I just wasted. Actually, I hate beer! WHEN YOU'VE BEEN WITH ME, THE REST ARE JUST CHEAP WHISKEY! IDEAL DATE: Going anywhere and doing anything that the two of us agree upon together. It would be wonderful if there was that certain magic, that certain spark, and it seemed as if I was meeting my best friend. I know it's a cornball thing but love is passion, obsession; someone you can't live without. If you don't start with that what are you going to end up with? I say fall head over heels. Find someone you can love like crazy and who'll love you the same way back...because the truth is: there is no sense living your life without this. To make the journey and not fall deeply in love -- well you haven't lived a life at all. You have to try; because if you haven't tried you haven't lived!
