Hi there! I'm Tara. I'm a single mommy to a remarkable 4 year old boy, he is my world. His dad and I share joint custody of him. I'm a student, working on my BS in child psychology and I work full time with people with developmental disabilities. My job is very demanding, but I feel very fortunate to have a job that I love. I am a voracious reader, if it sounds interesting, I'll read it. I'm pretty shy, a bit socially awkward and quite a klutz, but I have a great sense of humor and once I get to know you, I open up. I'm very emotional and not afraid to show it. I love politics and I am a very liberal democrat. I will never attack anyone else's views, though, as long as they don't attack mine. I know what I believe and I am not willing to compromise those beliefs. I've been through a lot in the past few years and it's made me stronger and more confident in myself. That said, I don't ever want to go through it again! I'm tired of people who play games and say they know what they want when they really aren't sure. It's ok if you don't, but be honest about that. I have a little trouble letting my guard down and usually won't until I know that my heart is safe, I've been hurt too many times. I am absolutely sure of what I want though.
