I'm a widower and living with my 10 year old daughter, i work in the oil & gas industry overseas, as an onshore civil engineering superintendent. Working at present on an infrastructure projects. I do what is called rorational working. One person share one position, i have worked here for two month then i will get all the rest of the years off on leave. My appearance is thought to resemble that of the American actor Richard Geere, so i have been told by my crew at work. I am fairly comfortable in my own skin. Life has been kind to me in that department...The finest compliment I have ever had came in the form of a criticism: you think too much! I value being a thinking being but I am also a feeling being and sometimes these two aspects contradict each other and cause me trouble %u2013 especially when the opposite sex is concerned. I believe that there is nothing out there that cannot be resolved in some manner by talking about it and then together acting to bring about change. By nature i'm, inquisitive, indefatigable, steadfast, reliable, hard working, honest, and faithful and I choose to believe that others are the same until they prove otherwise. Personal independence is important to me but then I also think that mutual %u2018dependence%u2019, the kind that is a pleasure because it acknowledges another person%u2019s caring for you is even more important. Above all I believe that any relationship is about helping each other to grow because it is only other people that can take us to places that we would not have ever thought of going ourselves (and I don%u2019t mean on holiday!). A lady who will be playful, creative, intriguing, passionate, and most of all understanding that no one is perfect. She will be able to look into my heart and soul and take the time to see my goodness and true nature. She will grab my hand when I don't expect it, and softly surprise me with a kiss, or a sweet little whisper, when my soul needs a shot of sweetness in the midst of this crazy world we live in.
