I'm Eric. I'm from central Pennsylvania and moved to The Villages in early July for a new job. There aren't many young people in The Villages, so I'm hoping this helps me meet people in the area. I consider myself pretty intelligent, fun, and down to earth. I like to go out and have a good time, but I also don't mind spending evenings in. I'm a nerd a lot of the time, but I'm not a total introvert. Also, I'm awesome. I would love to meet someone with similar interests and tastes in music, movies, who is also awesome, etc. I used to be a store manager of a GameStop in Harrisburg, but decided to take a job that would involve traveling and more flexible hours working from home. Now I work for several magazines and a newspaper selling advertisement space and find vendors for expos/shows in The Villages. It beats babysitting peoples kids while they shop at other stores! Not to sound too mainstream (puts on hipster glasses), but music is a really big deal to me. I'm into a lot of grunge music, 80s and 90s alternative, ambient, and mash-ups. I (used to) play guitar and bass, but did not bring any of them with me to Florida since they wouldn't fit in my car. Dinosaur Jr., Queens of the Stone Age, Shpongle, Them Crooked Vultures, Beck, Radiohead, Girl Talk, Gorillaz, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Bonobo.. So many more. I also love movies. Samurai/kung fu movies, sci fi, horror, and grindhouse/exploitation films are my favorite genres. Shogun Assassin, Tarantino movies (if you don't like Kill Bill, I don't care to know you), most of the Criterion Collection, Star Wars. Some of my favorite shows are Freaks and Geeks, Futurama, Archer, Afro Samurai, The Boondocks, Parks and Rec., Aqua Teen Hunger Force (or whatever they want to call it now), Adventure Time, South Park, Breaking Bad, It's Always Sunny, Tom Goes to the Mayor, Check It Out!, Tim and Eric, Workaholics, Undeclared
