I've just recently moved here to Florida, been just a little over a year now. I was with my ex for just shy of 23 years, and finally decided it was time to move on(it wasn't a quick decision, took me years to come to). So, here I am. Since then, I've been in one relationship with the absodamnlutely worst person for me. Call it a mid-life crisis, rebound, whatever, but just damn glad I got that out of my system. Lol, there's enough material there to keep a stand up comedian in jokes for the next 10 years :) I'm 41 years old, but I don't feel that old. I definitely don't act like I'm in my 40's. And, I'm happy to say, I don't look like I'm in my 40's. And as long as I'm talking about looks, let me clear up this whole profile pic thing. I am not, and have never been, a photogenic person. And because of that, there are very few pics of me floating around, since I avoid them as much as I can. Can't believe I actually found one to post, and even it pretty much blows. I've been told I'm a reasonably attractive person. No major scars, have all my hair, and a pretty nice smile...er, well, it's actually normally more of a smirk, but hey. Admittedly, I'm no Fabio (although I did have hair like that once), but definitely not Steve Buscemi either. Sorry, pop culture reference most of you won't get...trust me, he's one scary lookin' guy. Anyways, the point being that if you and I don't click, it won't be because I was giving you nightmares :) A bit about me. I'm a jeans kinda guy. Not that I won't dress up (actually clean up pretty nice), but it's really not me. If you're the type that likes to dress up, go to art galleries and fancy restaurants, I'm willing to do that with you, but understand it's stepping outside of my comfort zone, and probably not gonna be as much fun for me as a simple walk on the beach would be. Interests: Movies : I love movies, rather watch a good movie than tv anytime. Prefer comedies, but will watch about anything Music : Classic Rock, to really classic rock...love bands like the Eagles or Jefferson Airplane, but also like to go back farther...Jim Croce, or Van Morrison. Lol, but of course there's Nickleback, or Metallica, or...ah hell, I just love music TV : I really don't watch much TV...let's see, as of this moment it's been about 2 weeks since I turned one on. Oh, I'll watch it with someone, but I just can't get excited enough about today's shows ( do they all have to be reality shows? Really? ) to watch it on my own. Outside : The beach, of course. I love the beach. This being my first year in Florida, I can't get enough of it. Sports : well, really don't play any, unless you include bowling and golf. Pretty much suck at golf, but I get my money's worth :), and any sport you can drink beer while playing, not sure qualifies. I am a football fan, and do try to watch whenever my teams playing. Books : I love to read. Don't do it as much as I used to, but still read a book a week or so. I read for entertainment, so as long as it looks good, I'll pick it up.
