Are you all serious with all these lies and acting?! This is absurd! If you are on a date with a person that you have no chemistry with, please just tell them in polite and mature manor!
All you have to say is something like, "Please forgive me, you seem like a very nice person, but I really don't feel that there is any chemistry between us as far as pursuing a relationship." Then if you are VERY mature, and the company is not totally horrible, you can even offer to finish your dinner, and offer to pay your share (if you are a woman). You never know, you might make a new friend!
