There is a famous Chinese proverb that says “..only when the student has found himself and is ready, will the master appear”.
One can only improve themselves if they are true to themselves and truly associate any events around them without any prejudice or bias.
a master can only teach if the student is ready
This is essentially the key to the whole self-development and improvement process.
There are many examples all around us where this essential point, if understood and acknowledged has culminated in the improvement of someone or something.
For example take the recent events of our time where our car companies faced huge hurdles when the economy tanked and GM was bailed out by the government.
In the midst of these bailouts one company defied everyone by not accepting the bail out money thanks to its CEO Alan Mulally who had the foresight and vision to see how Ford can grow to be a powerhouse.
