Instinctively roles were identified with men providing food, shelter for their women whilst women reared their children, cooked and prepared food.
It became apparent that this kind of structure in these tiny settlements would only attract other passer bys and the settlement would grow to large numbers.
This required more adaptability and rules to be applied into the community and the settlements continue to flourish and language took hold as means of effective communication.
People protected each other and there elected heads of groups to provide some set of governing rules that all can abide by.
Man ultimately became the Lords of the planet.
