Wednesday, May 9th, 2012
Romanticism today has a whole new meaning today and many would apply the word not just to your sweetheart or lover but in other areas too. If one looked up the definition of romanticism in Google, the word refers to the movement in the late 18th and early 19th century where there was an artistic and intellectual movement coupled with individual expression and creativity.
One would consider being romantic would be a expression of heightened sense of feeling as a result of being in the presence of a lover or a date. Effectively, this elevated feeling in oneself maybe a consequence of an individual who has unlocked the inner feelings of love (please see the previous blog post ‘The sordid truth…’). However, unlike love, romanticism is likely a consequence of the deeper feelings that comes from the elated feeling of love within.
