For example since your website occupies a space in the category ‘online dating sites’ in Google’s eyes, over time, other sites will link back to you.

Its very likely that the referral sites will have the same category pool or related to dating in some way.

Google will also pay attention to the referring sites, the type and authority of that site to determine the ‘value’ it will place in the referring link.

For example if another site was pushing a link to your site, purely to drive advertizing business, the ‘value’ may be low since it doesn’t objectively provide the ‘subject matter’ of your site as accurately as say another site where the subject matter was purely related to ‘dating’.

The reason you stand a better chance with unique content is that over some time, other sites will link back to you and then Google will extract a better determination of where you stand relative to other websites in the same category space.

This will help Google provide more accuracy in placing you better in its index and it is the reason why Google’s results are more accurate and hence appreciated more than any other search engines.

The networked link space as well as the actual content of the site is what Google use to provide the ‘accuracy’ of its results.

Check that you have all your SEO keywords, content and web pages optimized for this since Google and other search engines will be crawling your website and placing you in their massive index.

Because there are no other websites that are pointing to your free dating site, the crawler will need to determine from its crawl results the type of website this belongs to, the authority and quality of your website.

If you have thousands of web pages with unique content and I mean unique content not copied from other sites, you will stand a better chance of getting many of your pages indexed but don’t expect a flood of traffic right away.
