We know that the online dating industry has provided an easy platform for many singles to meet other like-minded singles. In actual fact when the online dating industry was working its way into the main stream over a decade ago there was another active and busy online singles industry in the form of adult dating. This adult online dating business was taking a firm footing in the industry and collecting millions for many companies providing this service. It was only a matter of time when many of the online dating companies including many free dating sites also ventured into this market with their own helpings such as the adult matchdoctor and adult friendfinder network.

However, today we don’t seem to be seeing much of these websites as we did before. Perhaps its due to regulations or lack of interest from many singles or maybe these kind of activities have slowly shifted and thinly veiled into the popular mainstream dating sites of today. Whatever the reasons, there is no question that the popularity of the internet and ease of accessibility makes meeting people significantly quicker and easier than ever before. None more so with new devices capable of accessing the internet on the fly with simple gestures of your fingers namely, the smart phones, tablets etc.
Is it possible that the online dating industry is creating new behavioral patterns when it comes to peoples opinions on meeting other people with a view to having sex. Jumpdates.com recently conducted a study on this very issue in collaboration with the department of Nursing, University of British Columbia. It was found that sexual behavior had indeed changed with the advent of online dating, although conclusive studies as yet to be done to pinpoint essential factors.
If sexual activity has increased and with more partners than before as a result of the online dating sites than this could pose potential problems with regards to health and safety. In addition to the psychological impact of people’s behavior to sex the spread of sexually transmitted infections (STI), sexually transmitted diseases (STD) and venereal diseases (VD) can pose significant problems to the nation as did the epidemic of AIDS. Perhaps it would be a good a time as any to bring more awareness to the general public on this topic and especially singles who are now actively dating than ever before.

The feature that I like the most on this page is one can connect with that person by sending message, wink, and many more gestures or simply send the mail.

Home page is well compiled and shared by search, blog, forum and videos.
The menu which I feel is unique is quizzes, this menu helps user to create quiz on topic which they like and that can be seen by other users who can participate in the quiz.
Forum is the menu where user can start the discussion of his interested topics and also search for any answers to questions that a user has.
In video section you can give path of video you like from youtube.
You can view video of other users.
Tag is the menu where user can find profile, video discussion forum containing that tag.
All and all must to log on for looking for online dating.

Plentyoffish.com - one of a many popular free dating websites
This is very simple site and I call it a cute website when it comes to online dating.
Though it does not have wide range of features as Matchdoctor.com however the compilation is good.
First time you login to the website after registration, gives you the feeling that you are logging into an email account with buttons such as “Check Mail” rather login box.
Once the profile has been created (similar to the other free dating websites), you are ready to search for people local and afar to you.
Searching a profile has been kept very simple and shows the bare minumum of information only showing the picture and would have preferred more description about the user.
