This line of questions help the individual to see how he/she got to where they are and formulate legitimate reasons for going forward.
In this way it won’t be a half-baked attempt at improving oneself but more geared and motivated for a genuine reason to change.
I don’t believe any student can really appreciate the material unless they have gone through this process.
Albright gives his candid view of how some men hold back due to their lack of confidence and some are fearful of rejection while some are quick to dismiss women as ‘bitches’ and so on.
These are very real examples of how men often come to think of some women.
Some women are insensitive to this fragile makeup of men and have no clue as to what they are doing when they turn down men obnoxiously or very rudely.

He goes on to say that the men who feel dejected and feel that they don’t have it in them to chase after women can spiral downwards into their own little world and become a ‘mans’ man.
These are men who feel uncomfortable being around other women because they have had conflicting interactions with the opposite sex and don’t want the trouble of bothering with men although their hormones and libido may suggest the opposite.
However, their views are perceived reality based on their personal experiences and feelings of insecurity.
He explains that it is pointless blaming yourself and one should continue the ‘chase’ and face rejection like a man until they do succeed in finding women of suitability.

He correctly nails the point that our expectations should not be about the women but more about ourselves.
If you truly appreciate this point, you will see that it builds a confident individual and a quality which other women can find very appealing.
The successful and happy people are pretty confident in their lifestyles and pretty much know what makes them and not to be afraid of going after things.
Part of the process to self-improvement requires us to take a deep look at ourselves and then try to change for the better.
If you look at all the reality TV shows out there, almost all of them start with the mindset of who and where you are and why and where you want to go from there.

One of the surprising aspects of thinking in this manner which I found through my personal observation is that if you ‘perceive yourself” differently, others will do the same.
All it really takes is to flip your mind to something different and for an unknown reasons which is hard to explain, the outside world can appear quite different.
To give you an example, if you say had a grudge against someone or felt some hostility towards a person, you can ‘flip’ your thinking and lift that grudge of your shoulders and lo and behold, even without you saying or doing anything that person’s attitude will change towards you.
Very powerful!

Albright mentions that some people are pretty contented where they are and some men choose to remain as bachelors and perfectly happy with the situation.
However, he has seen some of his friends who are by themselves but understands them to be lonely and taken the easy path to less resistance when it comes to women.
He provides another piece of advise about ‘chicks’ and that is not too try too hard in trying to figure them out.
I would tend to agree, since women have a tendency to talk with their hearts and emotion there may not be any logic, rationality in what they say which usually dumfounds men who are very logical creatures.
I would also add, that in addition to not being too overly analytical about women, we look at the longer aspects of the relationship that really does matter.
For example, will you be able to compromise on some of her bad habits, do you think this relationship will last long, do you communicate well on essential things that matter to both of you ie. finance, career, well-being etc.
Albright’s book is available for purchase on Amazon.com.
