<<< The language of love - Body language and it’s potent power - part 19
Most successful people often face many ‘negative’ moments in their lives, but they still face it head on and deal with it.
In fact most positive people will have many ‘negative’ moments appear in their lives more often than people who shy away from the challenges of life.
It is important to understand that some of the rejections you will face during your attempts at talking to women are not because of ‘you’.
To give you examples, a woman may turn you down for many reasons, including the following;
1. She had a bad day at work
2. She recently broke up with her boyfriend
3. She is married or engaged
4. She is not interested in men
As you can see the problem stems from the other person and not because of you.
Providing you have done your homework of being presentable, maintain cleanliness, and a good sense of mannerism, you have nothing to worry about being turned down.

Think positive as much as you can, if you come across a failed attempt, don’t despair or become despondent because there are always other women who are and will be interested in you as a person.
We have digressed a bit from our original topic of discussion and that was about the initial eye contact from afar and to gauge the persons interest level.
This was a necessary topic of discussion and is an important step in the preparation of dating as a whole and to build self-confidence within our selves as well as sheer determination.
The signals you are looking for can be in the facial expression or other movements of the body.
If the woman looks at you and looks away and then turns to look at you again, this can signify interest.

Assume you have reached this point and you want to qualify further the interest level she has for you before you decide to venture out and approach her.
You can wait to see other movements and gestures in her body.
If she were sitting down and had her arms crossed and was tapping her finger against her arm, this indicates a positive signal.
It is an indirect way of saying ‘come over, I want to talk to you’.
She may also have her entire body facing in your direction, which is also a sign of strong interest.
Other gestures and body movements to watch out for include the tossing back of the hair, showing skin, puckering of the lips, taking here outer garment off and also showing wrist.

It is by no means the complete signals one gives in order to show interest, with practice you will be able to be more aware of these subtle signals and make sense of them.
If she were sitting down, she may cross her legs and point her toe in your direction.
She may even hold or fidget with the hemline of her skirt, swivel about in the chair and if she were talking to a friend may become more animated in her conversation.
Equally she may be not be giving the complete attention to her friend and only pretend to be listening. Imagine, what it would be like if you were in her position and you suddenly had an interest in someone on the other side of the room.
