Surfing dating sites on Windows 10
Windows 10 is here and if you have been lucky to download this free operating system OS, you will realize that it changes the way you view, surf and use many of the dating websites. For those of you who have not ventured into this new OS, you may have reservations in the way it affects how you use your current PC or laptop. It’s an important decision to make and you need to be sure that you will be getting the most out of your previous OS as well as extra benefits. Here are very important points to consider when you switch to the new Windows 10.
-
Check that your OS is compatible with this upgrade. Anyone who has a Windows 7 and 8 will be able to upgrade for free to Windows 10.
-
If you are a Windows 7 user - Check out the new OS to see if you like it or not. Unfortunately, we are not able to do this unless one of your friends or colleagues have one for you to try. But then again, you can always visit Best Buy and try out their laptops. Make sure the stores allow you to browse the internet. Note* If you do login to your dating sites in a public laptop or PC make sure to log-out for your own safety and protection.
-
Here is the most important step - The dating sites that you use on a daily basis, I suggest you try them out and see if there are significant user changes to the OS that makes it easy or difficult for you to access. Luckily there should not be any accessibility changes to any of the sites since your favorite browsers would not change. However, one of the issues that we have seen with the new OS is that it can change the trackpad settings and the controls you are familiar with may not be easily reproducible. We expect to bring a detailed article on this issue later but it does not affect all laptops.
-
Find out the path to the upgrade - Luckily the upgrade is not that bad. We were able to complete the download and install in one morning. However, make sure that you select the correct privacy options at the end as you logon to the new OS for the first time. Otherwise you will be sending your click activities on dating sites to our big brother Microsoft.
-
Finally - Once you have logged into the new OS, it should keep all your data, so there is nothing to worry about changes to your desktop.
Fortunately, we can conclude to all our members of Jumpdates and other dating site members that upgrading to the new Windows 10 is not that bad at all. We think that the new new OS has some nice features and brings benefits of the Windows 8 (if you are a Windows 7 user) and the missing components of Windows 7 (if you are a Windows 8 user). It combines the benefits of Windows 8 with Windows 7 to make for a good interface for doing your daily tasks and most importantly using all those familiar dating sites.
Nice one
