Myths and Facts about Women unfolded on International Women’s Day 2013
Once a little boy asked his mother why she was crying, the mother replied “because I am a woman”. The boy did not understand so asked his dad who said “all women just cry for no reason”. The boy grew up but still wondered why women cry. So he called up God and asked him as to why women cry so easily. God told him that he made the woman to be special. He gave her shoulders strong enough to carry the burden yet gentle to give comfort. He gave her strength to endure the pain of childbirth and rejection caused by her child. He made her strong enough to keep going when everybody else gives up in sickness and pain even if her child or husband hurt her badly. Finally God said that He exclusively gave the woman tears to shed whenever she needed to use it. Look into the woman’s eyes and you will see the heart where love resides.
