DVD sales have also been doing well and of course there is a sequel to come in 2013. To my mind the movie was broadly true to the comic (though somewhat updated) and Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddlston in particular were very good. Anthony Hopkins was too but one would expect that of him.
