Online dating can be fun when you are able to communicate with another genuine member.

However, some dating site including paid sites will inevitably have scammers posing as a genuine members.

They may have a hidden agenda such as laundering money, luring you to go to their website etc.

There are a few things to watch out when spotting a scammer or spammer.

Look at the picture and if it’s too good to be true, it’s often a scammer.

Also make sure to check their origin, for example if they say they are from Russia but provided a USA address then they are likely an agency advertizing for that individual.

In any case they should be straight forward and display their true origin.

Watch out for words like Bless, using God and mentioning money or illness in family.

These are sure signs of scammers.

You can also tell if the email is generic rather than a personalized one where the user has taken effort to study your profile before messaging you.
