Most people would be quick to judge the person as rude and not worth asking again and become spiteful of that person.
However, when living in a household where people are going to cross each other, there is nothing worse than harboring hostility.
I tried not to get ruffled up over this and was polite whenever possible, despite the person’s indifferent attitude towards me.
Because the other person was not able to come out with what was going on in their head and decided to adopt a ‘passive aggressive’ behavior, I decided to confront the situation.
