Chicago Dating Guide for Singles - part 2
Choose an activity that interests you both and gives you enough time to talk and know each other better.
Once you have decided on your partner, if you are a woman, choose a place that is buzzing with activity and not secluded. It is better to be safe than sorry as some untoward incident may mar your life. Meet him at a public place for a few times at least until you can trust him enough.
Both of you must dress in a manner so as to convey your identify and personality. If you are going to meet at and upscale place then guys could wear dark slacks with long sleeves shirt while girls can wear a nice skirt or slack with formal blouse. If the place is casual then jeans and dressy shirt is fine.
Maintain a high level of hygiene. Take special care to clip your nails and trim your hair/beard. Rinse with a mouthwash and eat some fruits or chocolate about an hour before your date. Don’t eat anything pungent unless you want to drive your partner away.
A lot of visitors look for a companion to go shopping. Being a shopping companion, the person expects you to know the shopping places, the deals and bargains to help with the best buys. Before you go on the date, get yourself updated on the Chicago shopping scenario.
Singles in Chicago look for an arm caddy to accompany them for various theater activities and shows. Make sure you are interested in the same before you agree to go. A bored, disinterested date is more of a punishment that ends the evening on a bitter note for both.
Food and drink plays a very important role when singles go on a date. Choose a place that serves cuisine that is appreciated by both of you. Unwind with a drink. Don’t drink too much that you lose control of your senses. Drink sensibly, order food that both of you enjoy. This makes you both relax and enjoy your evening.
If you plan to go on a weekend date, discuss beforehand where you will go and how you plan to travel. A backpacker and a luxury traveler can’t enjoy the weekend date! Know the person before you decide to date him/her. Its fine to say that opposites attract but that applies only to magnets not to us humans. We have to have common interests to bind us which help the relationship to blossom.
I always meet online dates in public places and have a friend go even if that friend is a table away.
