Browse & Search Feature

Browsing and searching is a very important feature of any dating website and this is where I generally spend more time investigating.

In ‘How About We’ section, you can browse and search any feature at free of cost. The menu is placed distinctively at the top where you can see the other menus such as search dates, date ideas, blogs, messages and post a date.

In the search date option you can see the searches of your match by selecting a category of date. The categories are divided into four types i.e. food + drink, arts + culture, out and about, and an uncategorized group. These categories are further divided into many different types. You can search matches within your region and the age group you want.

The ‘date ideas’ option suggests many ideas for a perfect date that you would be of interest to you. Just click on “want to go” and you will be added to the date ideas list. I liked searching the date ideas just because you can find other featured ideas, nearest to you or the most popular one.

Blogs and messages are readily accessible.

The popularity of the website to a certain extent is decided by the ease of the messaging feature. Unfortunately, this hasn’t been designed well on this website. In the ‘dates featured’ section, you can see the matches near you and if you wish to go with this person you simply have to click on ‘let’s go together’ and the message will be sent to that individual.

If you want to send a text message then you need to pay for this service. This implies that the site is not 100% free. Users will also be disappointed to learn that they cannot send gifts, kisses and smiles through this site either.

Member Base

As I searched for dates near me I found that the site holds a reasonable member base. Most of the members are from U.S. and they range in age group from 20’s to 40’s.

Conclusion

The look and feel of the website is average and site needs a lot of work to improve its first impressions with people since this crowd of internet users can very easily go elsewhere for their dating habits.

Registration is easy and hassle free without any complicated questionnaires. The site holds a reasonably good member base and so users who are searching seriously for a date may find some luck on this site.

What I liked about this site is that it gives you many new ideas for a date which you couldn’t have imagined. This gives the site more user appeal as well as a warm and  friendly feel towards it.

The site is free but you need to pay for the messaging which some users may find disappointing. There are missing features like gifts, smiles kisses and winks on this website. The website does not have any photo approval process and you will likely to find some nude and offensive pictures.
