The Low Down on Mingle2.com - Free Dating Platform Review - Part 4
One of the features that I liked about mingle2 is their mutual match system. Here, you are able to use the system only if you have a photo of yourself uploaded. Your photo will appear against potential dates next to you and your job is to say based on the picture and their profile description which is well below the page whether you approve Yes, No or Maybe. I found there were a good number of profiles presented here and I could go on for a good few minutes on this. What is interesting though about this section is what is Mingle2 doing with all this information in the background? I think Mingle2 takes this information and sends likely candidates that I have selected as ‘Yes’ and notify them of my interest. This is an excellent way to get users coming back to the site. After all, what can be better than bringing folks back to your site to create all those banner impressions and clicks that keeps your daily bread on the table.
In summary, I joined the mingle2 site and wanted to give you my first take. Hopefully, I will be able to tell you how it fares over the test of time which is the real acid test, right?
Here is my score on the mingle2.com site so far.
Registration - Easy but tricky to avoid the service paying tactics - 3 out of 5
Ease of use - Good once you are in - 4 out of 5
How effective - Need more time to check out the ladies on this site, then I will be able to tell you. However, judging by the local pool of users, it seems to have some potential. Check back for more info. but tell me some of your stories.
I am a free member at Mingle2. Not a bad site. A few real people there.
