<<< When dinner dating can have its ups and downs - part 6
This naturally leads you to the next part of the act with much more conviction and force.
“She is going to be devastated and I am worried that she will do something foolish”.
You should now be patting yourself on the back for coming up with such a beautiful and creative line.
Ask yourself, who on earth would not believe you now.
Of course the next line is a progression towards the next but it’s all coming out incredibly natural to you and your other date still has no idea or clue.
‘It’s not like her to text me this way”, you say.
Again, you have done yourself proud, you are now almost a director, playwright, producer all wrapped up in one.
Let me take it up another notch you say, since you are having so much fun and your quiet admirer is gazing at you helplessly from the other side of the dinner table.

“Zaaran is such an introverted person, sometimes I never know what is going with that head of hers”, you say.
As you speak, you also tense your face just a tiny bit to portray a sense of worry and anxiety.
Your mind starts thinking again and you need to make this act work for you.
You pause for a second and look at your man again, almost as though you are asking for his opinion.
Since you are a very polished and a highly sophisticated woman when it comes to social encounters, you wait for a momentary second before you start to speak again.
Wait, it seems your date does indeed has something to say.
“I hope she is going to be all right”.
Exactly the kind of response you were expecting and your neurons start firing again.
“Yes, I hope so too, but as I said she can be unpredictable”.

<<< When dinner dating can have its ups and downs - part 8
After you delivered the line to your facing partner, you think to yourself, “oh man, this could be going into a protracted conversation, exactly the opposite of what I wanted”.
The whole Zaaran/Joshua story is becoming too real for you and your partner.
As much as you want to do your play-acting, you want to close the door soon and be on your way.
In an instant moment you say to yourself, “how long can I really go with this, it would be real good test of my character and in any case if the final decision of going were left up to him, you have just done a double whammy!
Oh, the charms of being a woman you thought.

“Why…”, “do you think she is going to do something crazy? you hear a voice saying from the opposite end of the table.
“Not sure’, was your quickly reply, because you weren’t prepared for this line of questions.
“You should call her, I don’t mind at all”, as he spoke with an equal worry and tension in his voice.
Oh shoots you thought, you might have blown your chance altogether of making your escape.
On second thoughts, you conjure up another plan of action… call and pretend to talk to her and tell him that she desperately needs you to be with her and that you needed to leave. Very simple you thought, so you say “Sure, will be back in a moment”.

<<< When dinner dating can have its ups and downs - part 10
As you get up, you can’t help feeling a bit nauseous by the whole thing and you ask yourself ‘what has come over you’.
Usually you are so articulated and witty and you can have anyone around your little thumb. “What’s going on”, you thought.
As you leave the table, your date smiles with you notice a twinkle in his blue eyes and again, you feel a bit light-headed.
You step into the restroom and go straight into one of the booths and just sit there for a whole few minutes trying hard not to think.
When you come back to the restaurant you are feeling somewhat happier, you sit down and look at him and say “She is totally fine, she has her mom with her”.
The morale of the story is that you should never have too many expectations of someone you meet the first time, give yourself a chance to grow a little.
