Often men will make that change if push comes to shove but they almost always resume their previous mode of thinking when the heat of the moment is gone.

There could be a number of reasons why men choose to behave like this ie. laziness, trying to get attention, expectation that nagging is just part of life.

Some men don’t have the tolerance for nagging and if they choose not to do anything about it, can build up resentment for the other person.

Communication is essential to further development otherwise nagging and expectations for each other can be taken for granted.

It is unfortunate in our society and cultures that we are faced with a major problem that is not very obvious to all of us and this is being true to our words.

saying and doing can be two different things

Often our actions do not follow up with the words we say and in some cases completely contrary to what we have said.

Words can be very easily crafted for the right audience but the actions are what determine our true intentions.

‘Integrity’ which can often be termed congruency defines what we say in words and what we actually do in practice and this can be missing in many people’s lives.

We are almost always left in a position that this person will or will not do what was said and think nothing of it.

Unfortunately, it is this aspect of behavior that we are all becoming accustomed to that if not checked, will prevail and stifle human development.

We have seen and heard of people of integrity in our lifetimes, the individuals who hold steadfast to what they say, despite the temptation to go back on their words.

For example, people like Mohmat Ghandi, Sister Theresa and so on.

All of us to a smaller scale have issues with this where we are unable to keep the smallest of promises to loved ones or anyone else for that matter.

In some cultures, two people can make a plan for the future and either of them can break it, it is considered quite acceptable.

The question of trust does not come into it as both parties do not hold the upcoming event as anything life changing or of any importance and so words and intentions are never come together.

Definitely in the realm of business this kind of thinking has an adverse effect on the economy and a stumbling block towards progress.

This quality not only has to be present but a necessity for businesses to flourish and continue to survive and grow in this highly competitive global marketplace.

The cooperation of individuals within a company are what can make or break a company.

We can reflect on mans great achievements and accomplishments in the last century and it has been as a result of working together towards the greater goal.

On the same token, we all want great lives and most importantly happy lives and this is what spurs us to higher planes of thinking and achievement.

We don’t have to look for soul searching answers to find solutions to our daily problems, the answer may be right under our noses.

We simply need to keep an open mind and how we are without prejudice or bias and use that information to better ourselves.

being open minded can solve many problems

We must be prepared to change for the better, but this is not to say we need to be like a ‘walking doormat’ where we follow all the whimsical needs and desires of others.

To avoid resentment from others we need to turn the table and start looking at it differently.

This emotion is a state of being that you are feeling and it just happens that someone or something is causing you to feel resentful.
