If you are using dating services photos are very important to your profile.
It’s often the first thing that other members look at before they proceed to look at the rest of your profile.
Therefore it is very important to put up a picture that is good that others will appreciate and more likely to send you messages.

However, it is equally important to provide a good resemblance of yourself and not overdo with makeup or additional clothing such as scarves etc.
When taking a picture of yourself try to get someone to help you and preferably ask someone who is an avid photographer.
You can usually find these kind of people amongst family relatives and friends.
If they know what they are doing, let them do their job and don’t try to dictate how you want it, because they may become useful later on too.
