As soon as he makes a dart for it, he felt a tapping on his shoulder and he turned and saw his date Karen looking straight at him and his immediate first impression was surprise followed by ‘wow’.
It was the kind of face that wasn’t drop-dead gorgeous but more of a face that conveyed warmth, caring and affection.
She smiled and said, ‘I thought you will be in the other entrance, so I thought I would come by this way’.
Hmm, he thought as he sensed some level of sophistication and foresight in her voice and mannerism.
She was also punctual and this was a major plus point in Joes book as this was a quality he admire very much in women.
