In order for us to survive and have children that will grow to expand our genes, the basic necessities for food, shelter and continued sustenance need always need to be in place.
Without these basic needs the relationship is always on shaky ground.

Women will generally look for men who are financially stable, can provide shelter, is in good health and confident in their outlook in life.
How this is perceived from each woman can differ but the fundamentals are the same.
I mentioned confident outlook, which is as equally important because it provides a sense of safety and security for the woman and they can feel reassured that the man has that capacity to meet the future challenges.
