Five skills needed to attract potential online dating mates
Attracting the online partner of your own choice can be a daunting task if you don’t have a plan in place.
Do not expect that once you sign up to a dating site that you can expect a barrage of responders anxious to go out on a date with you.
Here are some five tips to help you get started so you don’t fall into the same trap as most other members do.
a. Make sure your profile on the website is complete as possible.
Go to your profile section or account section of the website and review the information and update accordingly.
b. You MUST have a picture on your profile, this will help you improve your chances of others responding to you.
It has been reported that having a picture can get you noticed 8 times more than without a picture. If you don’t have a picture, ask your friend or neighbor to take a flattering digital picture of you and use that. Failing this, you can go to some stores that can take a picture for you like Kinkos.
c. When searching for other members make sure that you have set the correct criteria in your search section, otherwise incorrect profiles will be returned.
d. Message at least up to 5 members a day that you feel are suitable, do not be restrictive in your search.
Once you have a good handle you can eliminate anyone after your first set of conversations if you feel it’s not working out.
e. Make sure to sign up to at least four other dating websites.
