How can I start??? How should I start???-- Roses are red, violets are blue... Nah, how 'bout something original, something modern- As original as the person who refuses to be a follower. Alright, check this out: My name is Carlos, and I've lived in Echo Park for almost my entire life. But what if I told you that I'm just person who works from 9-5, attends school at night and takes advise. What if? What if I told you I like spending time at the park, at the beach, or anywhere I can catch an enlightening glimpse. I've wondered: - Wondered if I've been loved because of my charismatic smile, attentive listening, considerate heart. - Wondered if I've been rejected because I'm unattractive, or I could not always afford a bouquet of roses, or opposed an idea. Well, I know I'm not a perfect person and that is because I'm human. A human on a quest for perfection that would only be obtained through a sincere, kind, loving woman. There have been times I've been drawn to believe that there is someone perfect for me out there in the darkness, and times I've questioned if it is normal to expect greatness from life. But if such thing really exists while I'm still conscience, then count me in, everything will be proven in due time. Alright so this is me through poetry (or I think).
