About me and who I am looking for :
Since I have retired and live in a retirement village where there are lots of activities, I stay busy but, still as I said, I would like to have a regular man in my life. I enjoy gardening, reading, listening to music, Going to plays and movies, dancing or a night out on the town. I would like to meet someone on a local level that could be there and we could date frequently, but I am not opposed to meeting someone outside my local level if they are willing to travel. When you are 70 and have been alone for a while, you are able to have a relationship that is unhampered by a lot of baggage. I am a healthy, happy person and hope to meet someone who has a positive outlook too that can enjoy a healthy, wholesome relationship. I am by no means a stick in the mud and would welcome an intimate relationship but I sure do want to get to know someone before that happens.

I'm not activly in an exercise program at the moment but walk around our small lake at least twice a week. I try to eat healthy and love to cook at home. I would enjoy cooking for a man once in a while. I have flower beds that require regular tending and I enjoy working in the garden and I love the flowers. I like pets but do not have one right now. I lost my beautiful pet last year. I do not plan to have another. They are wonderful but also, a lot of trouble and it hurts when you lose them. My children are grown, two girls, and live out on their own. One here in North Texas and the youngest is in Omaha. I have four Beautiful Grandchildren that I love very much. Two are here and two are in Omaha. I do not have a lot of close relatives here but the friends I have make up for it all.

Honesty is the most important virtue and I am as honest a person as I know how to be. None of us is perfect but I believe that each of us has a responsiblity to be as decent, law abiding and kind and loving of our fellow man as possible. We also owe it to our country to be law abiding and according to the Bible that is our duty. To love our neighbor as ourselves. I went to school in Colorado and in Texas. After High School, I took some Business courses in Junior College and made my career in Secretarial/Receptionist work, retiring in 2007. My current occupation is to enjoy my retirement to the fullest. I am retired. I do some volunteer work and enjoy the company of friends and family and my home and garden. I have put in my time and now is the time to enjoy life.
