I am a generally laid back person. I am all for just walking. I love walking bare foot. I try to recycle as much as possible and prefer to recycle. I am a liberal democrat with socialist tendencies. I believe that everyone is equal and I try to live my life that way. I actually want to work in human rights. A big part of my life is my family. My little sister goes to the same university as me and we hang a couple times a week. I talk to my parents often, but I am not attached at the hip with them. I very much an individual. I prefer to go my own way. That way is generally wandering until I find something that truely catches my eye. As much as I like to be spontaneous I am also a huge planner. If there is generally no plan if I am going to meet up with someone I stress over it. If you get to know me you will find out that I stress and over analyze everything. I am a to do list person though even if my room is a little messy, but not like a tornado messy, girl messy.

I grew up with Christian values, but my parents have been anti-church because of the way they were treated. My dad was Mormon and the church hated my mom. My mom's church was not a big fan of my dad either. Because of this and the way that my parents raised me, I recognize myself as either a humanist or an agnostic. I am not set on the idea that there is a God and I have a hard time following most beliefs within Christianity. I do believe that you should always be completely kind and generous. I would rather say that I donated $100 then say that I selfishly saved it because it is my money. I beleive that eveyone is equal and should have exactly the same way. Gays should be able to marry. Women should be paid fairly. Everyone should have healthcare. Being this way I try to judge as little as possible, but it doesn't always work.

I am a student at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. I am majoring in Communication Studies and double minoring in Art and Global Studies. I want to take these studies to become an international human rights worker. I have not decided whether I want to go immediately into grad school after undergrad or go straight into the work force. Either decision will hopefully be to my benefit.
