I'm looking for someone who is smarter than me, though I make no particular claim to any great intelligence beyond the norm. I am looking for someone who whom I can feel a connection with, and someone who I can trust.
I'm looking for someone who is not afraid to say what he or she is thinking, someone who enjoys learning what makes people and things tick and can articulate their thoughts and feelings accurately and eloquently. I'm looking for trust and honesty, as well as a brutal openness about expectations and compatibility. I'm a hopeless romantic and tend to believe that the perfect person is out there somewhere.
This site seems to have the egregious oversight that one cannot set ones preference for both men and women, which is rather idiotic, but there it is. I am bisexual and very comfortable being such. I set my preference to women because that is what I am interested in primarily at this point in my life. This is not to say I am not looking for a serious relationship, and in fact it is the only thing I am looking for at this point.
I am also looking for someone who is sexually mature and open-minded and progressive, someone who I can feel a kindred spirit with on not only sexual issues, but issues of philosophy, politics, science, sociology and literature, or at least have stimulating conversations with regarding these topics.
I think the sexiest thing about a person is the intellect of said individual, and how well it is expressed, though whatever medium - I like to know there are gears ever turning within a person's mind.

I'm a college student - I'm busy and underpaid. I drink a lot of coffee, read and write probably way too much, I don't eat healthy because I have a really high metabolism and am not prone to gaining weight and am generally in good health, with the exception that I limit my intake of refined sugar. I don't take any prescription medications and I like a beer from time to time. I love talking to people and am absolutely in love with words.

I am of the utilitarian and behaviourist philosophies. I believe humans are inherently mechanistic in nature, with every emotion and behaviour being explainable as the natural result of an overriding drive toward a clear and attainable biological or mechanical goal.
I believe that the only way to allow humans dignity is to acknowledge that we are cogs within a larger cosmic machine, that, being that the basis of human consciousness is an arbitrarily complex function being fed sense data as values and feeding back on itself ad infinitum, man, in mind and body, in inherently linked to the other explainable iterative functions all around him, with smaller functions becoming part of larger functions, and those functions relieved as aspects of even larger functions until it can be said that all things, all people and other events in the universe, are inherently connected in a larger universal, all encompassing but explainable whole which spans time, space and reality.
